Where the brook and river meet

Everything seems to be informing the other things.  I started a Facebook Fan Page for the Art Class Suite.  I'm keeping the large paintings close to home for now.

From the "not really relevant but you might enjoy it" comment department - I've seen your "Notes Tremendous From Her Great Engine" a couple of times now - on Tumblr, over on Facebook - and each time the white lines have reminded me of Duchamp's "Standard Stoppages". I wouldn't really mention it, but I couldn't help but notice that the blogpost below this has a photo of plumbing, which combined with the Standard Stoppages just can't help but be Duchampian. The title, too, with "Her Great Engine", also rings a lot of those Duchamp bells. Are these references painfully obvious, and I'm ridiculous for calling attention to them, or are they completely coincidental? Of course, if they're coincidental, that's a nice little dada echo too.

Dada echo. But not without a predisposition or sensitivity to these things. Thanks for paying attention Marc.
