Heinrich Kley

I have recently fallen in love with the drawings of Heinrich Kley.  You can find a great collection of his ink work at The Art of Heinrich Kley.  Also, there seems to be some portfolios here, and even a youtube video.  It makes total sense that he hung out with Albert Hurter and Walt Disney was a big collector.

What do you think of Félicien Rops?

I had to google him Dawn. I see the connection in the subject matter sort of. although Félicien seems a bit darker and heavier. But it is line quality that I see the biggest difference in. There is an ineffable whimsy to Kley (something I first saw in Hurter).
