I start with 1, 4, and 5. 5 is strikingly blue but seems slightly less focused. 1 and 4. I like 1 for how fiery it is. Red's always a winner -- if you can't make it good, make it red, as Audrey Flack says -- but 4 is a stronger composition. But not by much....
I'm going to vote for 1 and say that 4 wouldn't be wrong, either.
4, 3, 5, 1, 2 is my order of preference. Of course, though, this is without knowing any context about the theme of the group show. This simply reflects what I like most.
4 or 5. If I didn't know your work well, these would most likely tip me towards including you in the show. Wait, wait, is this a juried show, or are you already included and get to pick? Hm. I'd want to choose 1 because the red will stand up to other work well, but I'd choose 4 or 5, if you're trying to get through a juror's door.
Thanks for the input everybody. It actually helped. I am going to send one of these to a group show that I am already in. The only criteria is the size and that I was a student of a certain person (it is a secret at this point, I'll fill you in when the time comes). It is a very broad and loose umbrella for show, but hey. . .

#4. I kept going back to it.
Put #2 to the front of the line; then #5. 2 is striking, in all ways esp. composition.
I liked 1,4, and 5 immediately, but liked 2 and 3 the more I looked at them. So then on reviewing them all once more, I like #1.

Number Three!
Voting may be closed, but I'll say it anyway: 4! Then 2, 1, 3, 5.
Three. Definitely three.
Hey Steve,
I like 2's feeling of animation, but ultimately like 5 the best. Maybe catch up soon?

Number 3, 4,2,1,5
Number 3, should name it "BP Catastrophe" or "In BP We Trust"
