I've started a new venture. Drawings like this will be for sale on eBay. I have made a blog to act as sort of a storefront. You can check it out by clicking here.
Hey, are you feeling good about the ebay decision? It's looking promising, no? I think I'll give it try after the holidays- that and promotion. I've been stealth until I worked out some details.
Also, and this was a no-brainer- I saw where you listed subject as animation. Before I saw that, I was wondering if your background included animation or storyboarding. I'm guessing, "well duh."
I've got no big feelings yet Mary. The first set of auctions close in three or four days. I WISH I had gone into storyboarding or animation right out of college. I've never done it myself.
Hey Steven -- nice to see you doing this! A couple of thoughts . . . you have a lot of drawings listed, enough to open an ebay store. I know a number of people post their newest work for a 7 day action and then what doesn't sell they put into their ebay store. The stores let you keep work for sale longer (for cheep) and, I believe, increase your chances at showing up in a search engine.
Also, look at these guys . . .

for a few bucks a month you can get access to a steady stream of daily-painting collectors . . . it basically increases your statistical chances at sales. But hey, you have two pieces on their way out the door, it looks like, so maybe keep doing what you're doing!
Thanks David. I've been glancing at the store option on eBay. It is just another time sucker at the moment however. I'm sure I'll get to it however. As far as the daily painters thing goes, I will also be looking into that too. I wonder though, like Jacques says, who would be interested in a drawing an hour, let alone a painting a day?
