One of my students, Steve Furnett, who later became an intern of sorts and certainly a friend, is now the Exhibits Developer at the Lake County Discovery Museum. We haven't been in contact for awhile but he googled my name after coming across this high-tech ant farm from Fascinations. I'm sure that he was thinking of The Frog of Nostradamus from my 1994 cluster that he helped me with:
Tangent 2: I recommend the game Set. Invented in 1974 by Marsha Jean Falco (a Population Geneticist who was trying to understand how German Shepherds inherited epilepsy) it is a simple game but has won seven best game awards and recognition by Mensa. Try out the daily puzzle here.
3) Chris Rywalt felt that my paintings might fit into the agenda at Stephen Haller Gallery. I really appreciate his thinking about it. It is the sort of feedback that I am dreaming of from this blog forum, and yet I can't help but think that there is something not quite right. It seems to be the same sort of attempt to place my paintings next to decorative abstractions like Michael Kessler's.

Paul Klein tried to fit me into his world, bless his soul, but you can tell that even he could tell that it was an funky match. (This pic of Paul is from a Chicago Navy Pier show):
I can't do flat.
